Y u k i W a t a n a b e is one of the most respected stylists in Japan, and not just because she really KNOWS clothing. Her knowledge goes beyond the aesthetic facade as she was a patterner for Y o h j i Y a m a m o t o before dropping it all for a life as a slave (oops, I mean stylist). Her work has appeared most prominently in SO-EN magazine since the mid-2000′s and since this SO-EN is the Bible to young design students, her work became my Commandments too. She deserves her own post, but here is a sampling of her work:
